Staff & Faculty Volunteer Opportunities

The Center of Identity and Inclusion at University of the Pacific is seeking staff and faculty volunteers to support Latinx Heritage Month celebrations throughout the fall. These events provide opportunities to celebrate Latinx culture, build community, and create meaningful connections among Pacific students, alumni, faculty, staff, and guests.

Volunteers are welcome to sign up for individual shifts and events based on their availability and interests.

Latinx Alumni & Student Artifact Tour

Event Time: 5:00–7:00 PM

Time	Volunteer Roles
4:00–5:00 PM	Setup, Artifact Preparation, Shirt Organization, Name badge assistance
5:00–6:00 PM	Check-In (Name Badge assistance), Tour Guide Assistant, Alumni and Student Welcome Shirt Distribution
6:00–7:00 PM	Alumni Networking Support, Resource Table, Photography
7:00–8:00 PM	Cleanup

Volunteer Expectations (All Events)

Each volunteer shift is 1 hour and includes:

Arrive 5 minutes before your shift.
Wear a University of the Pacific name badge or volunteer shirt (if provided).
Help create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all participants.
Direct questions to the event lead when needed.
Be knowledgeable about their respective roles and the entirety of the event's schedule.
