We will be at OAK GROVE REGIONAL PARK instead of MICKE GROVE ZOO!
We will engage in restoration of Oak Woodland. We will be planting 35 valley oak saplings in the Oak Woodland area of Oak Grove Regional Park.
Task list:
* Planting 35 oak saplings in existing holes
* Wrapping each oak sapling with chicken wire
* Attaching chicken wire around each sapling to existing rebar stakes with zip-ties
* Placing metal fence around each oak sapling
* Attaching sign to metal fence around each oak sapling
Location: 4520 W Eight Mile Rd, Stockton, CA 95209
TRANSPORTATION IS AVAILABLE.
******IMPORTANT INFORMATION******
We will meet at Burn Tower at 1:10pm and leave at 1:15pm sharp to location. Bus may be in front of Burns loading zone as early as 1pm).
Wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
We will be working at a PARK. Do not wear your favorite outfit or shoes we will be planting saplings.
