About the opportunity:
The NorCal Emmy Chapter is seeking Pacific student volunteers to help support the running of the 2025 NorCal Emmy Award Gala. This is a great opportunity for aspiring media, sound production, event, hospitality, business, marketing and creative students to have experience with a large live event and to be among the region's best journalists, filmmakers, creatives and influencers. Students will play an important role in the backstage efforts to make this huge event happen.
IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS:
Date: Saturday, June 14
Time block: 3:30 - 10:30pm (students don't have to work the full block to participate but are welcome to)
Location: SAFE Credit Union Convention Center (Sacramento) | 1401 K Street, Sacramento CA
Transportation: Not provided
Dress: Black Slacks and Shirt, Black Dresses
All students will be provided with dinner!

Volunteer Roles (up to 15 spots)
- Door greeters and directional guides - Help open doors for guests, help answer questions about where guests should go, ensure that guests find seats before the start of the event.
- Ticket checkers - Volunteers check in guests and help with name badges.
- Show assistants - Assist the show runners with the event logistics of the live event, including ushering, notifying and escorting VIPs to backstage, and various other support tasks.
- Trophy room Support - Supports trophy room logistics by keeping awards organized and passed out to correct winners.
- Trophy guardians - Manages trophies going on and off stage. Helps show runners give "stage" trophies to winners and collects them afterwards. Directs winners to trophy room.
