Join us on September 26 from 8:00 AM–10:30 AM at the Black Urban Farm Association (BUFA)!

BUFA’s mission is to positively impact health and hunger by providing locally grown, pesticide-free fruits and vegetables while promoting sustainable farming and highlighting African American cuisine and plant-based diets. Transportation is provided.

IMPORTANT EVENT DETAILS

  • Check-In: Begins at 7:15 a.m. in front of Burns Tower.
  • Transportation: Transportation will be provided. The bus will be in the loading zone in front of Burns Tower.
  • Attire: Be sure to dress in clothes and wear shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED. Sturdy shoes are recommended. We will be on a lake cleaning alongside the shoreline, dress appropriately. Long sleeve and pants are recommended.
  • Open to all participants 17 years of age or older.

Remember that once you register, you are committing to attend, and our partnering volunteer site and team are counting on your participation.
