Join us on April 25 from 9:00AM–12:00 PM at the Lake Del Valle at Livermore for Earth Day for a morning of hands-on community service cleaning up the lake shoreline. Followed by lunch and leisure at the Livermore Outlets before heading back to campus.

7:10AM: Check in at Loading Zone at Burns Tower. Bus will be there as early as 7AM.
7:30AM-8:50AM: Travel to Del Valle Lake
9AM-12PM: Lake del Valle Shoreline Clean-up Project
12PM-12:15PM: Travel to Livermore Outlets
12:15PM-2:15PM: Livermore Outlets (No host lunch)
2:15PM-3:35pm: Deploy Livermore outlets. Travel to campus (Plan accordingly, we might run into traffic). Estimated (1 hr. 15min.) Arrival to campus.
IMPORTANT EVENT DETAILS
- Check-In: Begins at 7:10 a.m. in front of Burns Tower. Bus will deploy to campus at 7:20am sharp.
- Transportation: Transportation will be provided. The bus will be in the loading zone in front of Burns Tower.
- Attire: Be sure to dress in clothes and wear shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED. Sturdy shoes are recommended. We will be on a lake cleaning alongside the shoreline, dress appropriately. Long sleeve and pants are recommended.
- Open to all participants 17 years of age or older.
- Bring:
- Your own reusable water bottle to limit our waste.
- Money to stop for lunch at the Livermore Outlets
- Ensure you read and understand and agree to the liability waiver.
- Please be advised that we can run into commuter traffic on the way back to campus, plan accordingly.
