In 1994 congress passed the King Holiday and Service act. which then transformed Martin Luther King Jr. Day into the only federal holiday dedicated to volunteer service to honor his legacy.
This year Pacific’s Volunteer Center in collaboration with the Center of Identity and Inclusion invites you to join us in honoring Dr. King on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 8:30am-12:00pm alongside fellow peers, staff and faculty and together take action and support our community.
We will be volunteering at Independence Park.
