The Hub (Helping Urban Bicyclist) is a nonprofit organization that support individuals that are unhoused in the Stockton community by giving them access to reliable transportation. The Hub donates and repairs bikes, and also passes out basic necessities. The efforts of this organization address both the homeless epidemic in Stockton and also provides alternative climate friendly transportation, to further address the current climate issues.
The Hub is looking for volunteers to serve during the times listed below between 2-3 hrs. Volunteering starts on 4/21- and throughout the rest of Spring semester. Volunteers will work directly with the owner Deacon Stephen organizing the shop, preparing bikes for donation and giving essential items to those in need.
