Stockton Service Corps

Program Context: Stockton Service Corps (SSC) is a program of the Reinvent Stockton Foundation. A first-of-its-kind AmeriCorps place-based program, SSC ensures evidence informed AmeriCorps programming addresses pressing needs in Stockton through annual increases in human capital and skilled talent. SSC partners with AmeriCorps programs to implement evidence-informed interventions to create change in education, health, and climate. In its first year, SSC programs served over 5000 students across critical indicators and worked with six AmeriCorps programs. In its second year, SSC will continue to support the coordination and implementation of cradle-to-career programs and will expand their impact to climate needs.
