Bereavement volunteers provide comfort and support to individuals and families who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Volunteers may assist with phone calls, mailings, or grief support groups, helping our bereavement team ensure that no one walks through grief alone. Office volunteers support the heart of our hospice by assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, preparing mailings, and other light office duties. Their help ensures that our care teams and families receive timely and efficient support. This opportunity is well-suited for those who enjoy behind-the-scenes work and want to contribute their time and organizational skills to our mission.

Direct Patient Volunteers at Seva Hospice provide essential companionship and emotional support to patients during their final stages of life. Volunteers offer a comforting presence, helping reduce feelings of loneliness and providing a sense of dignity. Tasks may include reading, listening, assisting with light tasks around the home, or simply being there for a patient and their family. Volunteers are trained to respect the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of each individual, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and compassionate care.
