We are looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented Web Developer to assist in the support our website. As part of our marketing team, you will help to make regular updates and add new content to our website. Volunteers must meet critical deadlines and be willing to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update web pages, including layout, text, adding video, images, graphics and command buttons as needed

• Maintain the website with ongoing random checks to ensure links are working

• Test the website on desktop and mobile platforms (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, iOS) after updates and fix any issues

• Ensure web pages are developed to measure traffic through Google Analytics

• Assist with measuring website performance and suggest how to increase traffic

• Apply SEO tactics to improve visibility and direct new visitors to our website

Qualifications

• Proficient in HTML and CSS, basics of JavaScript and JQuery.

• 1-2 years of experience in Wordpress and Elementor page builder.

• Ability to edit images

• Working knowledge of PHP is a plus.

• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of tools for web development testing such as Google Webmaster, Lighthouse, etc.

• Experience in SEO, Google Analytics and social media marketing

• Good problem-solving skills.

• Effective communicator and troubleshooter

Marketing Support is a volunteer position, requiring approximately 5-8 hours per week.

Duties:
You will work along with the Executive Director to perform the following:
1) Lead social media interns and volunteers
2) Maintain oversight of the social media handles (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc)
3) Assist in developing marketing materials for publication on social media and outside print sources
4) Cultivate and maintain public awareness of Three Seed's operations and efforts

Skills and Knowledge:
You should have an understanding or capabilities within the following areas.
1) Knowledge of marketing best practices, specifically as it relates to online marketing through social media
2) Management or leadership experience preferred
3) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
4) Organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills needed
5) Ability to lead and direct others
6) Excellent attention to detail
7) Experience with Canva and Adobe graphic design programs is preferred

 

Qualifications

Research: 1 year (Preferred)

Grant writing: 1 year (Preferred)

Proposal writing: 1 year (Preferred)

Open to undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students.

Responsibilities:

Searching for new grants and writing the proposals. Making a budget and explaining how to use the funds. Maintain consistency in grant/proposal writing by following company policies Crowdfunding Cross-reference solicitation documents (RFPs, RFIs, etc.) Create organized writing outlines that are responsive to requirements Develop, write, edit, and proofread content including proposal volumes, presentations, and project descriptions according to feedback. Recommend continuous improvement initiatives to refine writing processes and techniques as appropriate Offer practical solutions for improving the quality of the text, and ensure that information is engaging and conveyed with technical accuracy and clarity

Requirements:

Experience in making budgets Excellent writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy Strong verbal communication skills Ability to multitask effectively while performing job duties, including the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Ability to effectively describe complex, technical solution details to lay audiences Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Internet, and Technical Research.
