About the Campaign
Join the University of the Pacific’s Office of Sustainability and Bon Appétit for the Tigers for the Planet: Eat Smart, Waste Less campaign — a hands-on initiative to reduce food waste and raise awareness about sustainable dining habits on campus.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Food Waste Measurement: Weighing and recording leftover food waste from the DUC Marketplace using provided tools.
- Tabling & Engagement: encouraging participation in the campaign activities by guiding waste sortment into correct waste bin
- Data Collection: Counting participant numbers and logging waste reduction progress for daily metrics
Meeting location: DUC Marketplace in front of the dish return.
