Responsibilities:
- Searching for new grants and writing the proposals.
- Making a budget and explaining how to use the funds.
- Maintain consistency in grant/proposal writing by following company policies
- Crowdfunding
- Cross-reference solicitation documents (RFPs, RFIs, etc.)
- Create organized writing outlines that are responsive to requirements
- Develop, write, edit, and proofread content including proposal volumes, presentations, and project descriptions according to feedback.
- Recommend continuous improvement initiatives to refine writing processes and techniques as appropriate
- Offer practical solutions for improving the quality of the text, and ensure that information is engaging and conveyed with technical accuracy and clarity
Requirements:
- Experience in making budgets
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively while performing job duties, including the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively describe complex, technical solution details to lay audiences
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Internet, and Technical Research.
