We are so excited to have you join us at the Edible Schoolyard Project for this special opportunity that takes place annually during Week of Welcome in the fall.

Pacific Day of Service will take place on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 8:00am to 1pm., during your first week on campus. We have a deep commitment to service in our community, and on this day, we will be participate in a wide range of community projects throughout the city.

We will come together in service and participate at community partners sites in Stockton and local areas. We will give back in various ways including gardening, clean up and renovation, beautifying and interacting with many members of the community. We will engage in these areas of service:

Agriculture and support Community care and family aid Animal advocacy City Improvement and beautification Education and Health Service support

Description of the Site

The Edible Schoolyard Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the transformation of public education by using organic school gardens, kitchens, and cafeterias to teach both academic subjects and the values of nourishment, stewardship, and community.

It is a beacon of hope and support, offering vital services through Hope Harbor Shelter and its food pantry. Hope Harbor provides refuge for our unhoused community not just offering a place to stay, but a pathway of hope and our food pantry stands as a symbol of compassion, ensuring that no one in Lodi goes hungry.
