Volunteer: Latinx Graduation Celebration Volunteers
Volunteers needed for the following shifts:
Shift 1:
Event Setup & Guest Arrival Support (4:15–5:15 PM)
Focus: Welcoming guests and preparing event spaces
Volunteers in this shift will help with check-in support, greeting families,
distributing programs and name cards, and directing guests to food, seating,
and event areas. This team will also assist with ensuring tables, signage, and
stations (photobooth, food, etc.) are ready before the program begins.
Shift 2:
Guest Experience & Event Support (5:15–6:15 PM)
Focus: Active event support during program start and early programming
Volunteers will help manage guest flow, support food lines and table
dismissals, assist with photobooth line organization, and guide families to
seating. Additional support includes helping students prepare for the grand
entrance and answering guest questions throughout the program, as well as
phonetic name card spelling. Will also need one staff member available
throughout who speaks Spanish to be a point of contact.
Shift 3:
Ceremony & Presentation Support (5:45–6:45 PM)
Focus: Stole presentation and stage coordination
This team will assist with lining up graduates, collecting name cards,
supporting stage flow during the stole presentation, and helping direct
students on and off stage. Volunteers will also help maintain organization and
timing to ensure a smooth ceremony experience.
Shift 4:
Closing, Breakdown & Cleanup (6:30–8:00 PM)
Focus: Event wrap-up and space reset
Volunteers will support post-event mingling by guiding guests to remaining
activities, then assist with cleanup efforts, including clearing tables,
disposing of food, packing supplies, and returning materials to CII. This team
