Bread of Life receives wonderful food donations that need to be identified, weighed, valued, and entered into a database.  As a volunteer with BOL you will be supporting the more than 2,000 families that receive free groceries each month.  These groceries are meant to help single mothers, elderly, the working poor, or anyone struggling to make ends meet.

Volunteer duties:

Data Entry for-

Client Data: Inputting information from client intake forms, including names, addresses, contact details, and any relevant information about their needs.Donor Data: Entering information about donations received, including donor names, contact details, and the type and quantity of donations.Inventory Data: Recording food and supplies received and distributed, updating inventory levels in the database.Database Maintenance: Ensuring data accuracy and consistency, correcting errors, and organizing data for easy access.

We are looking for a Social Media volunteer that will manage Bread of Life's social media accounts.

The volunteer duties:

Engagement, and community management, while also learning about social media strategies and analyticPlatform Monitoring: Monitor various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) for relevant information, trends, and mentions.Engagement: Respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions in a timely and appropriate manner.Community Moderation: Moderate online discussion groups and forums, ensuring a positive and respectful environment.Analytics: Assist in tracking social media engagement metrics and identifying high-performing content and campaigns.

Volunteers for the Technology Assistant will assist with problems that come up with technology. 

Duties include

Helping with email, Assist managing website Setting up iPads for events or use in the warehouse.

Need someone to set up and manage a Facebook Marketplace page where items for sale can be listed.

Photograph and describe items, list prices, follow up with sales inquiries,

Provide information needed for management to meet with buyers.

Volunteers needed to assist in packaging boxes of food.  

 

Shifts are available Tuesday - Saturday,  6:30 AM to 2:30 PM
