We are currently seeking volunteers for the Latinx graduate celebration.
The Latinx graduation Celebration is an annual event that the Center for Identity and Inclusion hosts, honoring graduating students of Latinx heritage, by giving them a cultural celebration amongst colleagues and loved ones. The event typically brings together students, families, faculty, and staff for speeches, acknowledgments, and cultural elements that highlight shared heritage and resilience. It serves as both a space of affirmation, pride, and community connection outside of the formal commencement ceremony.
We will need folks assisting with set up, student check-in, guest check-in, and clean up.
We're excited to be able to celebrate our students and hope you'll join us!
