Who We Are
Sustainability is a University office that works to meet the campus' commitment to sustainability - thriving people on a thriving planet. Sustainability is responsible for coordinating and implementing initiatives in the areas of operations, academics, co-curricular learning, policy and planning which advance sustainable practices and understanding.
Campus Gardens are dynamic spaces for building eco-literacy, community and fostering stewardship to the environment. Gardens on the Stockton and Sacramento campuses bring together students, faculty, staff, interested groups and community members.
What We Do
Volunteer opportunities are offered in many areas, including but not limited to:
- Waste Educators - improving waste reduction and diversion efforts across campus
- Ted & Chris Robb Garden - assisting with garden upkeep and beautification
- Sacramento Campus Community Garden - assisting with garden upkeep and beautification
If you would like to volunteer with a group but do not see an option that meets your needs, please email sustainingpacific@pacific.edu.
