Who We Are

Clothed In Dignity exists to restore dignity through clothing, compassion, and encouragement. Our vision is to provide clothing to individuals and families in need in order to build relationships which lead to growth and improvement. We became an official non-profit on February 27th, 2025, but our roots for compassionate outreach runs 15+ years deep. I, myself, began serving food to homeless individuals. Over time I had the opportunity to serve with a clothing ministry. That opportunity grew until I was leading that ministry which led to me starting a non-profit and expanding our scope of individuals and situations we serve.

What We Do

We provide clean clothing to homeless individuals during weekly outreach alongside a shower ministry in Lodi and Stockton. Locations can be found on our website: clothedindignity.org. We provide clothing to individuals and families in need every 2 months at a local church. There are many volunteer opportunities "behind the scenes" such as organizing the inventory, laundry, preparing for and serving during special events and more. Volunteers for weekly outreach should be prepared to serve individuals who face addiction, mental health and self-worth issues. Many are treated with contempt and our job is to treat them with dignity and respect. It is very rewarding to make connections and form relationships of encouragement with those we serve. We have seen many get into housing, jobs or addiction recovery. Several have expressed how they feel better about themselves after seeing us, how much they appreciate us, and how we have changed their lives. The annual spa day is a day of pampering for women who are homeless or in shelters. It is hosted by a church in Stockton, and we partner with several groups to provide showers, clothing, manicures, haircuts, massages, a catered breakfast and more. Clothed In Dignity has also helped families facing a house fire and others in an emergency foster care placement. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to help others in a time of need.
